figure most of yall know already, but eddie bo passed on wednesday from a heart attack. i knew it was gonna happen at some point, but it is still a major bummer. i was just having a conversation this week about how he is one of the only people who could ever be compared to james brown and not be completely overshadowed. i think i'm gonna put an all eddie bo mix on my next blog (thursday). i'll post a link here, too. |

I really enjoyed listening to this mix on my commute to and from work today. Made me feel like I was back in New Orleans listening to WWOZ. I'm pretty familiar with Eddie Bo's music, but there were a couple of tunes here I had never heard before and some I haven't heard in years. Thanks! |
